Description of the Drawing

The apple tree has a big trunk that forks into two limbs. The following biforcations of limbs and branches are indicated by the open endings and cannot be touched. The treetop is recognizable by its outlines. Some apples, indicated by the letter “g”, are hanging on the tree. On the left, an apple is falling from the tree. Two apples are lying on the ground. The ground is connected to the tree trunk. Have you counted how many apples there are in the picture?

This braille drawing was originally created for the non-profit organisation einfach machbar e. V. during the project “Blind Children Draw Pictures – Drawing with Letters” financed by the charity Aktion Mensch.
