Description of the Drawing
Our snowman is depicted from the front. His body consists of three circles of different sizes, the largest one below and the smallest one above. The circles symbolize the piled up snowballs. Children often built snowmen of this kind. The middle and lower circles are the upper and lower body. On each side of the upper body are two short arms (snowballs are often used for them; sometimes tree branches are attached to show the arms more clearly). Our snowman is wearing a hat – could that be a pot? In addition, two eyes and a nose decorate his head. Finally, five buttons are attached in the middle of his upper and lower body (they would usually be little stones).
This braille drawing was originally created for the non-profit organisation einfach machbar e. V. during the project “Blind Children Draw Pictures – Drawing with Letters” financed by the charity Aktion Mensch.
