Description of the Drawing

The guitar is depicted from the front, standing upright. It is very similar to a classical or western guitar. On its top is the head, below is the neck and under it the body. On the head’s left and right sides are three pegs each (to tune the strings with). Our neck consists of four strings, which symbolize the actual six strings and the fretboard. On the corpus, the strings continue over the sound hole to the bridge.

This braille drawing was originally created for the non-profit organisation einfach machbar e. V. during the project “Blind Children Draw Pictures – Drawing with Letters” financed by the charity Aktion Mensch.
